280ml lukewarm milk or water

1 packet of dry yeast or 1 cube of fresh yeast

50g melted butter

Procedure:

Mix the flour and dry yeast. Put the milk or water, egg and butter in a mixing bowl, add the flour mixture and use the hand mixer / kneading hook to prepare the yeast dough. Leave the dough covered for approx. 20-30 minutes to rise.
Subsequently, briefly knead again. Separate the dough into pieces of approx. 100g and form the pretzels. Place the pretzels on a baking tray covered with baking paper and coat with pretzel lye (7.5%; available from the chemists), then sprinkle with coarse salt.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C. Baking: E-oven 200°C, hot air 180°C for approx. 20 minutes.
